Description

This book was conceived and executed at Kasauli Art Camp in 1977. It was done to demonstrate Ramachandrans approach to making picture books for small children to the participating artists.
The story was one of the many Ramachandran created for his young children and a great favorite with them. The illustrations being spontaneously conceived, resulted in a free and lucid pictorial style created by the artist. This is one of the few books done by him without reference to any particular art tradition of India and shows his conscious effort to do each book differently.
